Bill Clay
Composer | Music Educator | New Music Producer | Guitarist
Bill Clay is a composer, music educator, guitarist, and new music producer and programmer who lives in Tempe, AZ. His influences are spectralism, math metal, and classic counterpoint. He loves collaborating with local artists and believes strongly in the growing new music scene in the Phoenix area. Bill is a program director with Oh My Ears, a co-producer with Tasting Notes Music, and he runs a private music lessons studio, with emphasis on inclusion of those with learning differences.
Bill has enjoyed working with Silent G, The Arizona Flute Society, the Harmony Project, Opuntia Winds, Elliot Yang, Charles Zoll, Emilio Vazquez, Oh My Ears Staff, Tucson Guitar Society orchestra, Team Lo-Blow Low Low Clarinet Choir, GCC Music as a guest speaker, King-Wea Ng as part of Valley Guitar Duo, Live to Learn Microschool as an elementary school music teacher, and many others.
His publications are two articles in ABC-CLIO’s 100 Greatest Bands publication and a guitar score in SCI Journal of Musical scores, Volume 42.
